PEOPLE JUDGE WHAT THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND
If you're troubled and disturbed by Miley's outrageous change; her twerking and wrecking ball riding, I understand, I was too. When I saw the Disney star twerking it up at the VMA I was bombed. I immediately thought about my son and at that moment I was just so glad he's not old enough to be Miley's fan. "This girl is a role-model, people's kids look up to her!" I thought. At first I wanted to join the millions of people who were tweeting about it but then I just decided to ignore the whole thing but it was just impossible, she just kept popping on my screen, there's no site I browse, that she's not being talk about. Every other instagram pic, tweet or Facebook status is about Miley Ray Cyrus. They even have a "NO CYRUS" app, how fucking cool is that? Like... you are so important, so talk about that people have to go out their way and download an application to try to avoid reading about you. Miley is the talk of the town, f*** the town, she is the talk of the world.
I personally don't keep up with social media, I can care less about what the next person is doing with his or her live, celebrity or not, but after reading this tweet today by Billy Ray Cyrus "Trying to type, tweet, twerk and ride a wrecking ball naked all at the same time while carrying a sledge hammer is proving difficult! PEACE” I must ask you to disregard everything I said prior to that. Miley Ray Cyrus is the best!
Are you guys really that ignorant to believe that Billy Ray (a father) approves of his little girl behavior? Miley is not a rebellious teen acting out for attention, "Miley is being Miley" And that can mean a lot of things. When you love someone, you embrace their flaws and his supportive tweet is probably his way of saying not to the fan, the critics, or the media but to his daughter "you're my Miley and I love you just the way you are." We the public have no idea what goes on behind closed doors and what he says or don’t say to his daughter when the camera are off.
I personally, feel like the biggest hypocrite in the world right now. I am crying on a blog, begging to be accepted as I am by those I love but the minute someone does something I can't understand, I'm quick to pass judgment. People always judge what they can't understand and that is a fact of life we cannot change. But what we can change is loving and respecting one and other. "I don't expect you to agree with my actions but I do ask you to respect my decisions." When you love someone you accept them for who they are, with virtues and flaws. You may not agree with Miley behavior right now and you probably believe she's doing too much and that is fine, you’re entitle to your opinion, just keep in mind you've never walked a day in her shoes to understand why she does what she do.
